Making Plastic Wind Socks with the Ranger

Recycling helps the planet and be fun too in this Ranger activity you can make wind socks using old newspapers and plastic bags.

The first skill to learn is how to roll newspapers

Rather than putting news papers and large pieces of plastic in the bin is a waste when it can be used for something else.......Wind Socks! They can be really simple or really colourful, looking like fish or monsters. I will show you how to turn things that you would normally throw out into something that you can et really creative with and then fly for hours of fun.

There are other creative family activities that you can combine with this or you could continue to fly high making plastic bag kites or try my home made rocket lab from the Dark Sky Ranger activities.
