Sanctuary 2017 at Murray's Monument 23rd and 24th September

Come along and join me and everyone else at this great free event  - Sanctuary 2017
Sanctuary and the Dark Outside is a unique experience in the heart of the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park. I will be doing 2 activities there

First it is your chance to try your hand at making and launching some home-made lemonade bottle rockets.  This is always a popular part of my Rocket Lab. There will be lots of materials for you to get creative with, what will your rocket look like? Will it defy gravity and fly high into the sky?

Later on after dark I will be doing some beginners Stargazing. It is a chance to learn about the stars we can see and learn a bit about our constellations.
