Free British Science Week stargazing event for 2018 - Dark Sky Above

We are meeting at Glentrool Old School, 7pm on the 17th of March. Glentrool is a Dark Sky Community in the heart of Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park because of this it is a wonderful place to experience the dark and see stars. We will travel to a nearby spot in the Dark Sky Park to stargaze with me, Elizabeth Tindal, a Biosphere Dark Sky Ranger for one of the darkest places on our planet. If the weather is not good for stargazing alternative activities will be available, including a small camp fire which will be the central sun as part of a solar system activity.
